摘要
听力在二语习得中占据重要作用,但是国内学者鲜有研究英语听力与其他英语技能及学习信念的关系,本研究以四名英语专业大学生为例,采用个案的方式,探究了英语听力能力低下对于大学生英语学习的影响。笔者通过访谈和学习日志收集数据,并通过类属分析的方法进行数据分析。研究结果表明,英语听力能力低下不仅影响其他英语技能的提高(尤其是口语),还会让参与者产生焦虑的情绪,甚至还会影响学习者的自我效能。
Listening plays an important role in second language acquisition, however, there is few studies focusing on the relation-ship between listening, other language skills and learner belief. The current study is a case study, focusing on four English majors with low level of English listening proficiency. It is aimed at exploring the impact of low level of listening proficiency on English majors'English learning in university. Data was collected through interview and learner journal, and then analyzed with categoriza-tion. Results show that low level of listening proficiency does not only have a negative effect on other language skills (especially oral English), but also make learner feel anxious. Besides, it could do harm to learners'efficacy.
