摘要
英语听说能力的培养是目前大学英语教学的主要目标,也是英语教学的难点。从模因论的角度分析研究大学英语听说教学的方法,并提出一些具体的教学手段,可以为模因论与语言学科之间建立联系,并对其在课堂教学中的实际运用有启发意义。
One of the primary goals of College English teaching is to improve the students' ability to listen and speak in English.However in practice, listening and speaking skills are hard to cultivate. Countless efforts have been made from various theoretical perspectives in this area, but often too little avail. Meme theory, a theory put forward by Richard Dawkins interpreting the evolution of cultural information transfer, is used in this paper to explain the process of learning a language. Thus, cultivation of such skills is approached from a memetic perspective. Practical methods and advice are offered accordingly to help develop students' listening and speaking skills.
