In order to facilitate the geophysical explorers read and acquire the relevant documents,this paper analyses the characteristics of geophysical exploration documents and the translation principles on the case of English-Chinese translation practices of geophysical exploration documents, and concludes the translation strategies of geophysical exploration documents.
