摘要
随着西方影视业的蓬勃发展,越来越多的美剧英剧涌入中国市场,也走进了普通中国人的生活,这极大提升了中国人对影视剧的欣赏品味。因此翻译质量的好坏,是否迎合观众的语言大众性需求,字幕翻译如何重现原汁原味的西语文化,就成了摆在译者面前的难题。将以尤金奈达和贝克之对等理论为理论基础,进一步探讨字幕翻译原则及策略,实现英语译语的本地化。
With the development of western film and TV industry, more and more US and UK series swarm into China and walk in-to ordinary people's life, which promotes largely Chinese taste for them. In front of us lay three crucial factors that can be involved in translation which are the quality of caption of translation, whether the translation is public-fitted and how to present authentic western culture by caption translation. The thesis, based on Eugene Nida's and Baker's Equivalence Theory, explores exact trans-lation principles as well as respective translation strategies to the point to realize further localization.
