1993年,莫言的《红高粱家族》被葛浩文翻译成英文在美国出版,获得了广泛好评。该文以布迪厄社会学的视角,从场域、资本和惯习三个方面进行分析,试探究该译作在美国贏得众多读者青睐的深层原因。
In 1993, Red Sorghum, the English version of Mo Yan's Hong Gao Liang Jia Zu translated by Howard Goldblatt, got published in America and has gained favorable acception ever since. This paper, applying the Bourdieusian Sociology, tries to ex-plore the deep reasons for the population of this translated version, from the aspects of field, capital and habitus.
