摘要
霍华德·加德纳于1983年首次提出关于人类智能的理论,该理论强调人的智能是一个多元的动态系统,每种智能相互独立但又彼此关联,都应得到尊重、培养和发展。多元智能理论与大学英语教学所推崇的教学个性化、多元化在理念上相吻合。本文尝试以多元智能理论指导大学英语教学,合理开发学生多项智能,全面提升学生英语综合运用能力,实现真正意义的素质教育。
The Theory of Multiple Intelligences was first put forward by Howard Gardner in 1983. This theory emphasizes that hu?man intelligence is a multiple and dynamic system. Each intelligence, which is independent but related to each other, should be re?spected, trained and developed. The Theory of Multiple Intelligences is consistent with diversified and individualized teaching mod?el of College English. Under the guidance of The Theory of Multiple Intelligences, this paper attempts to develop students ’multi?ple intelligences rationally, improve students’language abilities comprehensively, and make quality-oriented education become true.
