Cultivation of Intercultural Communication Competence in College English Based on Multi-culture

非英语专业学生的跨文化交际能力需要在大学英语跨文化教学中才能获得。针对当前大学英语存在的弊端,该文探讨了师生在跨文化教学中应遵循的三个原则以及采取的三个有效手段,指出在多元文化语境下构建起一个全新大学英语教学模式来培养非英语专业学生的跨文化交际能力具有可行性和紧迫性。

Intercultural communication competence of non-English Major Students needs to be acquired in college English teach?ing. By discussing three principles and three effective measures to be followed in multi-culture teaching, this paper points out it ’s possibility and urgency to build up a new model of college English teaching to cultivate students’cross-cultural competence in the context of multiple cultures.
