摘要
由于短语动词具有语义整体性、多变性,及小品词意义多产性等特点,短语动词教学一直是英语教学中一个难题。常规的教学模式多以死记硬背为主,教学方法枯燥无效。概念隐喻及行为指向基本方案从人们对事物认知的隐喻本质出发,让教学者能够以具体的意象图示来表示出短语动词中各小品词之间的意义区别及联系,从而为教师帮助学生正确理解和掌握短语动词中的小品词用法提供了可行性方案。
The teaching of phrasal verbs has long been a tricky issue in second language instruction since the changing characteris?tic of phrasal verbs caused by the meaning variance of its particles. The traditional teaching method of reciting proves to be boring and ineffective. Conceptual metaphor and SCOBA (Schema of the orienting basis of action), serving as useful instruments to under?stand the difference and connection among particles in phrasal verbs with concrete image schemas, can be applied in the teaching of phrasal verbs by teachers to help students better understand the usage of phrasal verbs.
