River Ethics in A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers

用当代的河流伦理来解读梭罗的自然散文《在康科德与梅里马克河上一周》,可以看出,梭罗描述了新英格兰康科德与梅里马克河自然生命存在的基本形态,也揭示出这两条河流域居民创造的河流文化中蕴含着的河流文化生命,并且提出为了保持河流健康,应该保持河流自然生命与文化生命的良性互动。梭罗在19世纪提出的这些河流伦理的早期思想是当前我们建构河流伦理的宝贵的思想资源。

Thoreau’s nature essay A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers, in the light of modern river ethics, shows the ba?sic shapes and pictures of the natural life of the Concord and Merrimack in New England which Thoreau depicted in detail.
