将口译基本训练融入大学外语教学的必要性

口译,作为英语专业学生的必修课,其对扎实基本功的要求对学生提出了挑战也锻炼了学生能力。在大学外语教学中,学生翻译能力的不足成为广大英语教学研究者探究的重点之一。笔译训练已被重视,但是,由于对口译加入大学外语教学的操作经验不足,使得目前结合口译和大学英语的实际课堂教学的相关讨论和实践尤为稀缺。该文就结合口译基础训练与普通大学教学的重要性及方法提出了一点探究式建议,旨在指出口译基本能力教学与大学外语教学的契合点,希望在今后大学外语教学中能得以推广。

The Oral Interpretation course is always considered as the compulsory subject for the entire English-major student. The requirements of the basic English skills may put forward both challenges and practice opportunities to the students. In an extensive college English teaching area, students’lacking of translation ability has become an important task for the English teaching re?searchers. Nowadays, the training of written translation has been focused in the daily teaching process while the inadequate experi?ence in including oral interpretation element makes it very rare to combine interpretation with college English practical teaching. The following passage is trying to illustrate some suggestions and figure out the fit point of combing oral interpretation skills with college English teaching process.
