建筑类专业英语翻译教学及翻译能力培养的探讨

Study on Translation Teaching and Translation Ability Improvement Based on Special English of Architectural Specialty

建筑类专业本科生在完成大学英语课程后,阅读及翻译专业外文文献时存在不少困难,存在多数学生语言应用能力差、过度依赖翻译软件的现象。该文结合建筑类专业英语教学中的经验体会,为提高建筑类学生翻译实践能力,拓宽专业视野,满足建筑类行业对翻译人才的需求,提出了专业英语翻译教学及翻译能力培养的几点建议:改变传统的专业英语教学模式,提倡"职业学渔"教学;加大翻译实践力度,布置职业化的课外翻译作业。

Undergraduates of Architectural specialty find difficulty in reading and translating special foreign literature after they have completed college English course, poor ability of language application and independence on translation software are found in most students. For the aim of improving translation practice ability, broadening professional vision, and satisfying the need of trans?lators from building industry, combined with experience and cognition in special English teaching for architectural, suggestions on translation teaching and translation ability improvement are presented in this paper-traditional special English teaching pattern be changed and professional fishing study be promoted;efforts to translation practice be strengthened and professional translation homework be assigned.
