隐喻在我们的生活中是随处可见的,它不但存在于我们的语言中,同时还存在于我们的思想和行为习惯中。英语是一门语言学科,而隐喻可以将英语单词的组成、语义的正确转换、字词的搭配使用等方面都表现地更加形象具体。因此在大学英语词汇的教学中,教师应当注重学生隐喻意识的培养,把隐喻理论知识更好地应用到具体的词汇教学中,从而有效提升学生的英语词汇学习效率。

Metaphor is commonly used in our daily life.It can be seen not only in our language,but also in our thinking or behavioral habits.English is a language subject,and metaphor,as part of the language,can help crystallize and visualize words in word formation,transformation and collocation.So in the vocabulary teaching of college English,the teacher should pay attention to the cultivation of the students consciousness of metaphor and apply the relevant knowledge to English teaching so as to improve students efficiency of vocabulary learning to a larger extent.
