摘要
大学英语四六级考试改革,对非英语专业大学生英语翻译教学提出新的要求和挑战。作为西北民族大学公共英语教师,从本校学生的实际教学情况和少数民族学生的特殊学习状况出发,结合相关教学理论,积极探索针对少数民族非英语专业学生翻译学习的方法,在课堂教学中教授翻译基本理论,开展翻译实践,树立少数民族学生跨文化翻译观,培养少数民族学生跨文化意识,提高学生翻译水平和能力,应对大学英语四六级考试改革。
The translation teaching for non-English majors is facing a requirement and challenge with the CET exams reform.Based on a teacher' s experience,the actual situation of Northwest University for Minority and it' s students,this paper aims to explore the translation teaching methods for minority non-English majors.It points out that in order to perform better in the reformed CET exams and improve minority non-English majors s translation competence,teachers are expected to introduce translation theories and practice more transalation in their class teaching.The students with minority identities are hoped more to develop their cross-culture awareness and cross-culture translation competence.
