摘要 我国社会知识化建设的大力推广在很大程度上扩大了高职高专院校的招生规模,学生数量的大幅度上升促使学生更具复杂性,基于这种大环境的引导,英语课堂产生越来越多的沉默现象。在高职高专院校的英语教学过程中,学生普遍不愿开口,常常是整节课保持沉默,课堂参与主动性的缺失导致师生之间无法产生有效互动,课堂气氛十分沉闷。面对这种情况,高职高专的英语教师只能在授课过程中唱独角戏,这不仅会导致师生对课堂产生疲惫感,还无法取得良好的课堂教学效果,高职高专院校英语教学目标无法顺利实现。这种授课模式已经远远背离互动教学理念的要求,因此,分析高职高专院校英语课堂出现沉默现象的原因具有一定的必要性与重要性。 Promotion of social knowledge construction in China has greatly expanded the enrollment scale of higher vocational col-leges. The number of college students is increasing on a large scale, which diversifies students. Based on the general background,students are not willing to speak, the English class remains silent, and without the initiative in the classroom between teachers andstudents the classroom atmosphere is very boring because of the lack of effective interaction as well as participation. As a result,college English teachers can only sing the song in the course of teaching, which will not only lead to a sense of fatigue by the teach-ers and students, but also can not get a good teaching effect in classroom. The teaching mode has been far away from the require-ments of interactive teaching, so it is necessary and important to analyze the reasons of the phenomenon of silence in English class-room in higher vocational colleges.
