Autonomous learning is the trend of the current education development, and it cannot be substituted in any educationalsystem. The article analyses the status of autonomous English learning in higher vocational students in combination with the theo-ries about autonomous English learning, and then studies how to construct autonomous learning model of higher vocational Englishand discusses the feasibility of training autonomous learning ability in higher vocational English education.
