基于中国传统文化融入的旅游英语翻转课堂教学模式设计与应用

The Design and Application of Flipped Class Model in Guide English Course Based on the Input of Chinese Culture

目前英语教学中存在两个问题——交际中的"哑巴英语"和跨文化交际中的"中国文化失语现象"。解决第一个问题需要教师摒弃传统的灌输式教学模式,让课堂真正以学生为中心;解决第二个尴尬则需要教师对中国文化及其表达方式的讲授予以足够重视。该文以大学英语专业的学生作为研究对象,以旅游英语课堂为依托,研究如何用翻转课堂的教学模式将中国传统文化融入教学中,从而提高学生的跨文化交际能力。

Two severe problems in English learning and teaching are mute English and the aphasia of Chinese culture. To solvethese problems, teachers need to get rid of tradition teaching method and make their class student- centered. Meanwhile theyshould help their students to develop the cultural awareness of'knowing ourselves'and make up the lesson of Chinese culture.Aiming at the students in English major, this paper explores the design and application of flipped class model in Guide Englishcourse and illustrates how to enhance students' cross-cultural ability by inputting Chinese culture.
