On the Teaching Mode of Multi-Style Reading Course

该文在黄冈师范学院翻译系阅读教学实践的基础上,探讨翻译专业英语多文体阅读教学的综合模式。以"译才不器"为培养目标,通过大量阅读各类题材英语文本和汉语文本,提倡深层次阅读,提高学生批判性思维能力和阅读能力,扩大学生的认知视野,为培养"翻译通才"打下坚实基础。

This paper studies the comprehensive teaching mode of Multi-Style Reading Course of translation majors based on the teaching practice of English reading in Translation Department,Huanggang Normal University.The research sets cultivating versatile translators as its training objective,encourages deep reading through mass reading of both English and Chinese texts of various styles and subjects,enhances students' ability of critical thinking and reading,expands students ' horizons and builds a solid foundation for cultivating translators with broad range of knowledge in different areas.
