摘要
浙江丽水正以新型特色旅游城市的形象展现在世人面前,每年有数以万计的国外游客。对于初次接触中国文化的国际友人来讲,景区英译是他们直观了解地域文化的最佳媒介之一。该文以丽水市数个主要景区的名称和介绍为研究对象,针对景区公示语的英译策略进行分析,指出景区公示语英译现存问题,并从翻译策略和管理监督两方面提出改进意见,希望有助于建设丽水地区旅游产业。
As a new type of tourist city,Lishui of Zhejiang province embraces over ten thousand of foreign tourists each year.For these who first meet the Chinese culture,C-E translation of the scenic spots is one of the best accesses to the local culture.The article reveals the translation strategies and problems based on the data of public signs collected from many scenic spots in Lishui,and puts forward some suggestions both from translation strategies and administrative measures to improve their English version.And hence hope to be helpful in building a better image of Lishui as a tourist City.
