摘要
在全球化时代,英语学习人数与日俱增,对外英语教学显得十分重要,学者们不断探讨如何让学生更容易接受和理解另一门语言。科技的发展丰富了教学材料的选择,使多模态教学法能更好地运用于对外英语教学。论文阐述了多模态教学法的基本概念和作用,介绍了对外英语教学的发展,并分析在对外英语教学中如何利用多模态调动学生听觉、视觉、触觉,从而让学生加深理解,提升兴趣,提高教学效率。
In the era of globalization,there are more and more people studying English.Teaching English to speakers of other language becomes very important.Scholars try to probe ways letting students accept and understand other lan-guages easily.The development of technology offers more teaching materials and gives convenience to the application of multimodality teaching method in teaching English to speakers of other languages.The thesis elaborates the basic con-cept and function of multimodal teaching,introduces the development of teaching English to speakers of other languag-es,and analyzes how to use multimodalities in English teaching to stimulate students'hearing,vision and feeling.Thus improving students'understanding,enhance their interests,and promote teaching efficiency.
