摘要
传统教学倡导的基本以"教师讲,学生听"为主要形式,即使在如今的职业院校课堂上依然如此,这便忽视了不同学科或能力之间在认知活动和方式上的差异。目前高职教育倡导在通识课程中"以人为本"更加提倡因材施教,从这一点出发设计教学显得尤为重要。第一部分简单介绍了传统教学法并引入多元智能理论;第二部分介绍了多元智能理论的内涵;接下来介绍了多元智能理论发展状况,并通过图表形式展示一种用法;最后一部分是根据多元智能理论对高职英语跨文化课程所做的教学设计,展示了多元智能教学的成果。多元智能理论促使教师根据教学对象、教学内容的不同采取灵活多样的教学方法和手段方面,为教师的教学打开新篇章。
Traditional teaching basically follows such typical mode as teacher keeps talking, while students listening. This kind ofteaching mode also prevails in today's vocational colleges, which neglects the cognitive differences in various academic subjectsand abilities. When teaching general education curriculum, learner-centered concept is adopted. Individual's needs should be tak-en into consideration during teching design procedure. In the first part, both traditional pedagogy and theory of intelligence are in-troduced briefly. In the second and third part, elaboration is made on the connotation and development of intelligence modalities.The application of such theory is illustrated through a chart and a picture. In the last part, by way of presenting a demo-teaching,the author presents the achievement and effectiveness of multiple intelligences. The theory of multiple intelligences offers people anew vista of teaching, which varies according to the changes of learners and contents.
