A Probe into the Construction of the Teaching Website of the Chinese and Western Culture Courses in College English

信息技术的发展推动着教育信息化的前进。本论文以人本主义和建构主义为理论基础,从丰富教学资源、培养学生的自学能力、突破教学的时空限制和加强东西方文化交流等角度分析大学英语中西方文化课程教学网站建设的意义,全面阐述教学网站建设的指导原则,并详细说明网站资源的具体构成,即包括中国古代社会与文化、中国当代社会与文化、西方文化等方面的内容。

The development of information technology has promoted the development of education informatization. Based on the theory of humanism and constructivism, this thesis gives the analyses of the significance concerning the construction of the teaching website of the Chinese and western culture courses in college English from the following aspects, such as enriching the teaching resources, cultivating students' self-learning ability, overcoming the limit of time and space to teaching, strengthening cultural exchanges between the East and West, etc. The guiding principles of the teaching website construction are articulated,and the composition of the website resources are specified, which includes ancient China's society and culture, contemporary China's society and culture and western culture.
