摘要
该文旨在指出近几年美国国情咨文网络中文译本中一些严重的翻译失当,同时分析其成因并给出相对合理的译文,以期减少这些失当翻译造成的误导,并使广大英语爱好者和翻译学习者在解决类似问题时更具自觉性。
This thesis reveals and rectifies some serious online mistranslations of the State of the Union addressed by President Obama in the recent three years, through analyzing cause of missteps and presenting more reasonable versions when necessary,in hopes that English lovers and translation learners would be less misled and more conscious when approaching translation of this kind.
