后殖民翻译视角下观察寒山文化身份的重构现象——以斯奈德英译寒山诗为例

On Reconstruction of Hanshan's Cultural Identity from the Perspective of Postcolonial Translation Theory: A Case Study of Gary Snyder's Translation of Cold Mountain Poem

寒山在中国乃至中外诗歌、文学、宗教、文化交流史上都占有独特的地位,虽然在不同的文化和不同的时代对其有不同的看法,但现在对寒山的研究已经愈演愈热。该文从后殖民翻译理论视角出发,通过对比分析寒山诗和斯奈德的英译诗,发现寒山在美国文化中被接受的一部分原因在于,斯奈德为了迎合当时垮掉派的价值观取向和期待视野,对寒山的文化身份进行了重构。

Hanshan occupies an unique role in the research of literature, religion and cultural communication at home and abroad.Despite the awareness of his role varies in different times and cultures, it is undeniable that related research has been paid great attention to. From the perspective of postcolonial translation theory, this paper attempts to find the part reason why Hanshan is so popular in American culture. That is, in order to cater for the value and expectation of the Beat Generation(BG), Gary Snyder reconstruct the cultural identity of Hanshan.
