摘要
文章通过尝试运用Fauconnier和Turner的概念整合理论,以儿童绘本《猜猜我有多爱你》为例,从绘本中的图片、文字、颜色、手势、身势和故事情节层面探析此类多模态隐喻语篇在概念整合中的隐喻意义动态构建以及读者(或观看者)在阅读此类语篇中认知和体验。研究发现,概念整合理论较好地解释了多模态语篇隐喻意义的构建过程,有助于读者更好地阅读和理解这类多模态隐喻文本。
Based on the conceptual blending theory, this paper attempts to analyze dynamic meaning construction of multimodal metaphors and readers' cognitive and empathic experience in the process of reading Guess How Much I Love You from its images,texts, colors and plot. The conceptual blending theory has a betterinterpretation of dynamic meaning construction of multimodal metaphors, which is also helpful for readers' understanding of this kind of metaphorical multimodal discourse.
