我国中西部地方高校大学英语教学与双语教学的衔接研究

Research on College English and Bilingual Instruction in a Local University of Western China

近年来全国很多高校开设了多种多样的双语课程,特别是在我国发达地区的各重点高校,开设双语课程,开展双语教学活动成为推动我国高等教育与国际高等教育接轨的重要举措。然而我国中西部地区的地方高校的双语教学效果并不太令人满意,其中大学英语的教学环境是一个不可忽视的因素。地方高校应在改善大学英语教学环境的基础之上,稳步推进双语教学改革,加强双语教学条件建设,科学制定双语教学计划,完善双语教学质量保障体系,真正提高双语教学质量和管理。

Bilingual courses are promoted among various academic disciplines in many universities. Especially for those in devel-oped areas, bilingual courses and programs are regarded as a symbol of internationalization of higher education in China. How-ever, bilingual instruction in local universities among western region of China is not well organized. A key factor lies in College English teaching condition. In order to improve the quality and effectiveness of management in bilingual instruction in local uni-versity, college English teaching condition should be changed. And then to promote the bilingual reform steadily, strengthen con-struction of bilingual instruction conditions, establish a scientific set of teaching program, and improve the quality assurance sys-tem of bilingual instruction.
