摘要
口语是最重要、直观评判二语能力的因素之一。多年注重笔试的传统英语教学模式以及学习环境造成我国多数英语学习者不重视口语。那么是否增强个人交流意愿能够提高二语口语水平呢?本实验采用问卷调查与相关性分析,旨在探讨非英语专业本科生的英语交流意愿与其口语水平的关系。研究结果表明:(1)学生更愿意在英语课堂及网上聊天时使用英语。(2)学生交流意愿与口语水平有较大关系。
Spoken English is one of the most important and direct ways of second language proficiency evaluation. However, years of traditional teaching mode and learning environment delay the improvement of spoken English. Does emphasizing per-sonal WTC improve oral proficiency? With questionnaire and correlation analysis, this study aims to find out the relation be-tween willingness to communicate (WTC) and oral proficiency of non-English major undergraduates in China. The research findings are (1) students are more willing to communicate while in English class and chatting online (2) students’WTC is strongly related to their oral proficiency.
