甘孜州县城餐饮店铺名英译现状调查——以康定、九龙为例

Investigation on Current C-E Translations of Food Store Names in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture — Take Kangding and Jiulong for Example

该文以宣传康巴特色美食为出发点,通过实地调研具体了解康定市、九龙县县城餐饮店铺名的英译现状,分析总结出其英译名中存在诸如英译空白、字母脱落、拼写错误、大小写混乱、空格不当、单复数不统一、一名多译、中英文名称信息不对等、硬译死译、误译错译等十大英译问题,以期能引起当地政府及相关部门的重视,采取措施规范餐饮店铺的英译名,更好地推广康巴特色美食及其饮食文化。

For promoting Kham-pa special foods, through on-the-spot investigation, the paper tries to know the current C-E trans-lation of food store names in Kangding city and Jiulong county and to analyze the existing problems in the C-E translations such as lack of C-E translation, English letter disapperence, spelling mistake, capitalization mistake, space mistake, singular or plural form, more than one C-E translation of the same food, non-equivalence between its chinese name and English name, word-for-word translation, mistranslation. etc in the hope that the local government and other related departments will attach great impor-tance to local C-E translations of its special food stores, take measures to standardize them and better promote Kham-pa special foods and its culture.
