The attributive clause is often used and its function and meaning are different, so it is the key and difficulty to under-stand and translate the attributive clause when dealing with the English-Chinese translation. This article firstly compares and analyses the difference between English and Chinese syntactic structure;secondly sums up the basic law of the attributive clause translation and introduces several common translation methods, which includes fronting、combination、division and conversion , etc. . The author hopes that this article can provide some references and help for later translation and study.
