摘要
文化空间是进行有效的文化交流的特定场所,以移民、留学生等为主体的"客体文化"和由移入国社会构成的"主体文化"各自形成自己的"文化空间"。主、客体文化之间存在四种关系,分别是同化、分离、边缘化和融合,"融合"是最理想的文化适应状态。为了更好地适应主体文化,文章提出了针对华人尤其是留学生的海外文化适应策略。
Cultural Space is defined as the communicative practices that construct meanings in, through, and about particular places. The“Guest Culture”held by people like migrants and overseas students and the“Host Culture”rooted in the host nation have formed each other’s“Cultural Space”respectively. There are four migrant-host modes of relationship:Assimilation, Sepa-ration, Marginalization and Integration. The last one is the best condition of cultural adaptation. To achieve it, the article propos-es strategies for overseas Chinese especially students on how to get adapted to overseas culture.
