英美原声作品既真实生动,又表现文化特质,可以形成跨文化交际的英语语境,可以提高和培养大学生的跨文化交际能力。但英美原声作品的个别内容对大学生也存在消极影响。在运用英美原声作品时应利用积极其方面,克服其消极方面,按照"取其精华、弃其糟粕"的原则,保持英美原声作品在大学生英语教学使用中的正确导向,使其更好为大学英语教学服务。

British and American original works shows not only real and vivid scenes, but also cultural characteristics, which can form an intercultural communicative English context,and can improve and cultivate the students' intercultural communicative competence. But certain contents of the British and American original works have a negative impact on students. We should use its positive aspects, and overcome the negative ones according to the principle of'taking the essence and discarding the dross',to keep the original English works in the correct orientation of college English teaching, to better serve the college English teaching.
