Medical English is a working language used for communication between medical staff and patients,and for academic communications among the relevant staff. For the sake of the expertise in medical field, medical English is different from the universal English in vocabulary, sentence model, grammar and terms, etc. To analyze and summary the features of medical English is a very important precondition for us to teach and learn it well. This paper, by analysis and summary the main features of medical English, such as vocabulary, grammar, etc, makes a discussion on the teaching strategy of medical English in vocational colleges.
