International trade exchanges become more and more closely with an increasingly globalized economy. Thus, the importance of business English is increasingly prominent. Business English is different from ordinary English, literature English, it is a cross discipline between the English language and international business. Under the environment of commercial activity being frequent, domestic and foreign scholars make a lot of discussion, and put forward many ideas and theories for practical work of business English translation. Among the many theories,Eugene Nida was an most influencial people, his functional equivalence theory has a significant impact for translation world worldwide. The article inquiries business English translation based on functional equivalence theory in order to propose functional equivalence strategies more adapted to business English translation.
