A Norms-oriented Study on the Construction of Bilingual Corpus for Airport Public Signs

双语公示语的标注显示了一个国家人文环境与国际接轨的程度。国际机场作为国内外旅客交通中转枢纽,确保机场公示语的地道、规范、准确和简洁显得尤为重要。目前机场公示语的研究比较匮乏,机场汉英双语公示语存在的问题也比较多。建设规范的机场公示语语料库对提高机场的软实力非常必要。

The marking and presentation of bilingual public signs shows the extent of the connection between this country and the world. As the airport is an important transitional place for foreigners, it is of great importance to make sure the authority,standard, accuracy and concision of public signs within the airport. Presently, studies on airport public signs are relatively deficient, and there are many problems concerning the present airport public signs. Thus, a construction of corpus for standard airport public signs is necessary for the enhancement of an airport's soft power.
