The Truman Show is a movie with far-reaching influence that has been the focus of many critical studies because of the power and panopticism the movie connotes.The ubiquitous installments of surveillance cameras in the movie have caught those unexpected things as well as the masses,in ceaseless supervision.The thesis aims to study how the panoptic society is constructed in the movies and reveal the mechanism of power of this movie.
