近年来我国经济持续快速发展,成功举办了奥运会和世博会等多项国际大型活动,吸引了大量的外国游客到我国旅游,旅游及相关行业随之也发展迅速。酒店行业作为旅游行业的重要部分,对于专业人才素质的需求也随之不断提高,特别是对从业人员的语言能力的要求,尤其是英文能力的要求越来越高。高职院校如何培养出适应这种发展趋势的酒店专业人才,如何加强酒店专业学生职业英语能力的培养,已成为高职院校酒店专业人才培养的一个核心问题。
