A Discussion of Literary Translation Standards——Translate Popular Literature by Yanfu's Tactic

自有翻译活动以来,翻译家们就总结经验,归纳规律,中国传统文学翻译研究发展缓慢而坚实。近几十年来翻译研究的跨学科性质日益凸显,翻译研究愈加科学、开放。该文在分析"信达雅"和文学翻译特点的同时,在翻译研究多元化的基础上提出"达旨"译流行文学的观点。

Translators have summarized their experiences since the translation practice began and Chinese traditional translation study has developed slowly but solidly. In recent decades, the interdisciplinary feature of translation study has become increas-ingly prominent and it is more scientific and open. The paper aims to propose Yan Fu’s tactic of conveying the implication to the reader as the way to translate popular literature on the basis of the feature of faithfulness, smoothness and elegance and diver-sified translation studies.
