符号学视角下的泉州公示语翻译探索

A Study of Translation of Public Signs in Quanzhou from the Perspective of Semiotics

公示语是一种面向公众的实用语言,成为一种以达到某种交际目的特殊问题,公示语翻译不仅包括语言符号的转换,还涉及两种文化的传递。该文结合符号学理论,对"泉州十八景"英译进行实证研究,具体分析泉州公示语翻译现状,并提出相应规范性措施。

Public signs are an important part of urban language and humanity environment. Translation of public signs involves transfer of language signs and different cultures. The paper, based on semiotics theory, makes an empirical research on translation of eighteen scenic spots in Quanzhou, conducts a specific analysis of its translational status quo, and puts forwards corresponding regulating measures.
