The transmission of two languages is the transmission of the information of the two languages from the Information Theory viewpoint, and the translation refers to transfer the maximum information of the original text to the translation text. Dur-ing the information transmission, redundancy is a very important cause which can influence the information transmission. In the process of EST translation, mastering the redundancy balance can make the translation of the maximum equivalence of the origi-nal text.
