教学改革背景下大学英语第二课堂活动创新模式探索与实践——以华侨大学为例

The Research and Practice on English Extra-curriculum Activities in Huaqiao University in the Context of College English Educational Reform

大学英语教学改革给传统的英语教学带来了极大的改变,同时也对大学英语教育的重点提出了新的要求。在此背景下,华侨大学以大学英语课堂教学为依托,将大学英语第二课堂活动作为课堂教学的有益补充,一方面实现了英语课堂教学与语言应用的"无缝连接",另一方面形成合力,促进第二课堂活动的跨越式发展,极大地促进了学生对英语学习的兴趣和热情,并取得丰硕成果。

With the great changes and challenges brought by the College English Educational Reform to the traditional college English education, more requirements have been put to the modern college English course. Based on the methods of in-the-classroom reform, Huaqiao University put more emphasis on the English extra-curriculum activities, creating the'Seamless connection'between the learning of English and application. On the other hand, more efforts have been made to developing of different activities. The study and practice of the English extra- curriculum activities roused the interest and enthusiasm of students and lead to great benefits and fruits in and out of campus.
