摘要
该文对福尔摩斯探案小说系列中较为冷门的篇目《工程师大拇指案》进行译本分析。结合案例,从中国传统叙事模式的视角对比研究两种译本所采取的不同翻译策略,从而探究归化法与异化法在翻译实践中的应用。
Two translation versions of The Engineer's Thumb, which is a short story collected in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, are analyzed in this article. From the perspective of traditional Chinese narrative mode, the two different translation strategies have been comparatively studied with cases. The author intends to probe into applications of foreignizing strategy and domesticating strategy in the translation practice.
