摘要
This paper tries to explore the epiphany embodied in Lessing’s A Woman on a Roof.As for Tom,reality provides some preconditions for fantasy.Reality,however,shatters fantasy into pieces with zero mercy.Through the analysis of fantasy and reality,one can see Tom’s epiphany in his emotional experience varying from immaturity to maturity.
