摘要
"Ode on a Grecian Urn", bringing up two modes of art- visual art and literature, shows a paradoxical conflict between the two modes by moving the poem through three stages, death, life, and death again, altering readers' perspective, and secretly and slyly pushing the claim of literature into a higher position when the poem seemingly pays homage to the sculpture and painting.
