摘要
Euphemisms are used frequently in human daily life,and with the development of cognitive science in recent years,people try to use various cognitive linguistic theories to study euphemisms.In the paper,the definition and origin,construction principles and classifications of euphemisms are presented.,and then the main ideas and features of semantic prototype theory are introduced.The last part is the concrete analysis of euphemisms based on"Nirvana in Fire"with the help of semantic prototype theory.
