摘要 Sexism is a kind of social discriminations which universally exists in every countries and social systems. Language should be equal to everybody no matter men or women. However language is the carrier of society and culture. It reflects certain values of society and certain thinking methods of people. Thus, sexism also universally exists in language. English is the most widely used language in the world, and the sexism in English language is also the most typical. To analyze sexism in English language, it's better to start with the causes, and then think about how to avoid this discrimination according to various forms of expression, finally eliminate the sexism in English language.
