摘要 虚拟现实、三维的技术是当前计算机领域研究的热点之一 .本文介绍了虚拟现实、三维技术的含义、基本理论、关键技术及发展现状与趋势 .着重阐述了虚拟现实、三维可视化仿真技术在地理信息系统中的应用 ,分析了虚拟动态模拟、三维空间分析、虚拟地理环境、三维数据的获取与处理、三维数据结构及模型等基本问题 ,并对 VR-GIS、3D-GIS发展的趋势作以探讨 . The technology of Virtual Reality and 3-D is one of focuses at field of computer research at the present. This paper discusses the technology of Virtual Reality and 3-D and its concepts, key characters and trends. At the same time it points out its application in Geographic Information System, including currently the development of VR-GIS and 3D-GIS and the development of related soft wares. Furthermore, it stresses out some basic problems such as acquisition of data, 3D data structure and its models, 3D data storage and handling, 3D spatial analysis, etc. On the other hand, it is prospecting the application of Virtual Reality and 3D in geographical science in the future and puts forward some advice.
