Significance of p16 Protein Expression in Nephroblastoma

目的:探讨p16蛋白在肾母细胞瘤中的表达及临床意义。方法:应用S-P免疫组织化学方法对42例肾母细胞瘤常规石蜡标本进行p16蛋白检测。结果:42例中p16蛋白表达缺失率为69.05％,p16蛋白阳性表达与病理组织类型、患儿预后显著相关(P<0.01),阳性表达者预后好。结论:p16蛋白表达可作为判断肾母细胞瘤预后的指标。

Objective: To study the significance of p16 protein expression in nephroblastoma. Methods: The p16 expression was studied with immunohistochemical method in 42 patients with nephroblastoma.Results:The negative rate of p16 protein expression was 69.05%.The positive rate of p16 protein expression was significantly related to pathological types and prognosis(P<0. 01). The prognosis was better in positive case than that in negative case.Conclusion: The p16 protein expression can be used as a marker to predict the prognosis of nephroblastoma.
