語言接觸與“任何”“任什麽”的形成

On the Evolution of Innovative Form Renhe(任何) and Renshenme(任什麽) with Language Contact

'任何''任什麽'都是漢語中表達周遍義的常用詞。它們的出現跟漢語舆蒙古語、拉丁語、英語的接觸有密切關係,是通過翻譯外來文獻實現的。其中'任何'在明末與晚清兩次獨立出現,創新於明末的'任何'因社會政治因素没有擴散開來;創新於晚清的'任何'則因處於崇尚西學的社會背景下而於很短時間内在知識階層中擴散,並逐漸進入了大衆語言。

The innovation form of renhe and renshenme were deeply related to the language contact between Chinese and Mongolia, Latin or English. They first appeared in the translation of foreign scientific literature. Renhe was firstly invented in the end of Ming dynasty, but hadn’t spread in Chinese because of political and social issues. It was invented again in the late Qing dynasty, and spread through relatively-elite group to the members of the public.
