摘要
'水中'在現代漢語中一般是泛指'一切水之中'。《爾雅·釋水》'水中'一語的意思則有所不同,對其進行今譯時不宜直接沿用原文。從'水''洲'等語詞的古義以及《爾雅·釋水》的篇旨來看,此'水中'乃是特指'河流中'。《釋水》的篇旨則是'解釋與陸上水流有關的各種名稱'。
The phrase Shui Zhong(水中)in modem Chinese generally means "in water". The meaning of the phrase Shui Zhong(水中) in Erya Shi shui is different with it, which should not be directly used when it is translated into modem Chinese. It means "in the river water" according to the original meaning of Shui(水)and Zhou(洲), and the main purpose of Erya Shi shui. The main purpose of Erya Shi shui is also to explain words related to flow water onshore.
