论美的第三种形态

The Third Form of Beauty

华美作为一种独立的美学形态 ,在中西方美学史研究中一直没有得到肯定。其原因有传统观念和传统美学理论的影响 ,同时也与美学研究主要以艺术为对象有关。华美就其特征来说 ,是一种装饰的美 ,实用的美 ,它是与壮美、优美相并列的美的第三种形态。

Magnificence as an independent form of beauty has never been accepted in the study of esthetics in China and Western countries. The causes are the influence of traditions and traditional theories of esthetics as well as the fact that art is the subject of study of esthetics. As far as its features are concerned, magnificence is a beauty of decoration and of practical use. It is one of the three forms of beauty, with the same significance as glory and grace.
