The Discursive Image of Government Spokesman:A Critical Discourse Perspective

本文基于对7月23日甬温线动车特大事故后新闻发布会上发言人答记者问的语篇进行批评话语分析,探讨了新闻发言人如何根据自己的特殊身份来构建话语形象,以及怎样通过新闻发布会语篇中消息交换平等性的特点来削弱机构发布信息的强制性。通过对该案例的研究,本文希望为新闻发言人话语形象的研究提出一种新的话语表达模式。

This paper takes a critical discourse perspective to analyze Wang Yongping’s news briefing conference discourse on 7.23 train crash disaster,in the hope of discussing:a)how government spokesman constructs his discursive image by using various discursive strategies,b)how to weaken the mandatoriness of information issued by government via utilizing the rules of equal information exchange.This paper attempts to offer some implicaitons for the research on the discursive image of news spokesman.
